After being almost completely gutted by fire in 2001, Melbourne’s landmark GPO on the busy Bourke Street Mall was brought back to life with the help of Higgins Coatings and now operates as one of the city’s most opulent and exclusive boutique shopping malls.

Higgins were called in to safely remove and encapsulate the 1867 neo-Renaissance building’s walls that were coated up in lead paint. Working two shifts a day for the most part of the week for client St. Hilliers, Higgins delivered a brilliant finish on time once again.
