Australia's largest privately owned Painting Contractor (Higgins Coatings Pty Ltd) has a vacancy for an experienced Estimator to join our expanding Queensland Team working across our New Construction division.

Reporting directly to the New Construction Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Measuring & Estimating New projects
• Accurately costing and evaluating projects
• Support to the New Construction team
• Provide & maintain job files

Ideally the successful applicant will possess the following qualities:

• Previous experience in a similar role in the Construction or allied Industry
• Ability to read & interpret plans & specifications
• Sound Mathematical skills (QS qualificationswould be viewed favourably)
• Good communication skills
• Computer literate
• Experience with "Digitizer"
• Confident personal presentation
• Comfortable working independently whilstremaining a team player
