The filigreed finery of the historic Members Stand at the Royal Randwick Racecourse is a landmark feature of the Australian Jockey Club’s premier facility that along with the fillies and the fashions is a famous part of action.

Service Painting took special care in painstakingly preparing and painting the ornate wrought iron columns and lacework overlooking the Members Lawn and Parade Ring ensuring to maintain this racing industry icon’s rich heritage and enduring image.

A major painting and maintenance contract with the AJC saw Service Painting applying a significant repaint of a range of buildings throughout the course utilizing high reach access equipment and scaffolding in close consultation particularly around race meetings and functions.

A magnet for celebrities, socialites and a who’s who of the rich, the famous and the otherwise; the Service Painting team had a field day at the Royal Randwick not only in ensuring the buildings looked their best, but also in observing the glamour, the glitz and the occasional race…during the few breaks they had!
