The Brooklands Apartments at 23 Queens Rd, Melbourne recently underwent a dramatic transformation that from the very moment the project began progressed like clockwork – much to the delight of Supervisor Graham Dixon and the residents seeking a change of colour.

External walls of salmon and hand rails of baby blue had faded since construction in 1995 and this prominent 8-level building of 89 apartments perched beside Albert Park Lake stood out for all the wrong reasons over the Formula One racing carnival.

The Higgins crew of 6 went about the job with vigour and skill using swinging stagers and abseilers over a 10 week period to give the exterior a striking new contemporary look. Residents, body corporate and client Focused Facilities are thrilled with the results.
