Chris commenced operations in Brisbane for Higgins Coatings in 2001 and has overseen remarkable growth of the business that now includes three offices and Statewide coverage. With 20 years of industry experience including numerous management roles, Chris has project managed some of Higgins’ largest contracts over the past 12 years such as Crown Casino, Federation Square, Museum of Victoria, Suncorp Stadium (Lang Park), Gold Coast Convention Centre and Orion Shopping Centre, Springfield.

Darren Ridge
Queensland Commercial Manager

With the aim of making a considerable contribution towards the success of the business in Queensland, Darren has certainly made a big impression since starting at Higgins Coatings as an estimator in 2003. After 10 years of painting industry experience, Darren brings his invaluable hands on approach to the role of Commercial Manager where through sheer hard work and maintaining high standards of service his achievements continue to grow.

Tim Petersen
Regional Manager North Queensland

Having established the Sunshine Coast business in 2007, Tim spent some time away from Higgins before returning late in 2009. He credits the excitement of growing the Higgins business into Northern and Central Queensland as well as returning to a great team as the primary reasons for accepting the position back with Higgins. Tim brings with him 8 years of industry experience, with a core focus on long term preventative maintenance programmes.
