New Construction

We resource projects properly from the start. Each project runs with a dedicated site supervisor. Where a job needs to scale, we do it with our own people rather than passing it down a chain of subcontractors.

We build our programme off yours. Our project managers work to your construction schedule, resequence when the build moves, and hold the dates that matter for practical completion. On staged handovers we work floor by floor or wing by wing so you can release areas as they finish.

Painting sits near the end of the sequence, which means we live with whatever the trades ahead of us leave behind. We attend site coordination meetings, flag preceding trade issues early rather than at handover, and work with plasterers, joiners, ceiling fixers and cleaners to keep the finishing sequence moving.

You get one point of contact and paperwork that arrives before you have to ask for it. SWMS, inspection records, product data and colour schedules, in the format your project requires. Uploaded to your document control, on your timeframes. Nobody on your team should have to send a follow-up email to find out whether a document exists.

Every SWMS, risk assessment, site inspection and defect sits in HOW, our tablet-based project management system, linked to our Integrated Management System. It's the same system on every job, so the record is consistent whether you're auditing one project or five. Higgins holds ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification. Every tradesperson carries a Higgins ID, along with current Police and Working with Children Checks.

Defect lists get worked, not disputed. We move through PC and DLP items to an agreed programme rather than leaving them to pile up at the end. At close-out you get documentation, warranties and touch-up paint for the client's maintenance team.
